Responsibilities and Requirements of the Registered Dental Hygienist:
Anesthetic License strongly preferred but not required
New Grads OK; 2 years minimum preferred
Screening patients during checkups
Reviewing a patient’s dental history
Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health
Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques
Performing preventative dental care
Applying fluoride treatments
Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
Compensation: $40/HR -$43/HR

Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Assistant:
At least 1 year of general dental assisting experience required
Reliable and empathetic towards patients and staff
Ordering supplies and taking care of logistics
Assist in using various diagnostic tests to determine the condition of patients’ teeth
Study patient records, including dental histories, plaster models of teeth, and X-rays to develop treatment plans for patients
Aid in discussing treatment plans and cost estimates with patients
Help in treating occlusion issues and other oral conditions
Compensation: $18/HR - $25/HR

Responsibilities and Requirements of the Insurance Coordinator:
Review and submit dental claims to insurance companies.
Review and analyze dental claims denied by insurance companies
Identify the reason(s) for denial and determine the appropriate course of action to appeal the denial.
Communicate with insurance companies and patients to resolve issues and ensure claims are paid.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claims and appeals.
Investigate claims with no response to ensure claim was received by payer
Ensure billing and coding are correct prior to sending appeals or reconsiderations to insurance companies.
Follow up with insurance companies on unpaid or rejected claims.
Resolve issues and re-submit claims.
Prepare appeal letters for insurance carriers when not in agreement with a claim denial.
Identify denial reasons and notify the team to prevent future denials and further delay in payments.
Previous experience in dental insurance claims processing or related preferred
Proficient computer skills, including experience with dental practice management software
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Understanding of insurance policies and billing procedures

Responsibilities & Requirements of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely billing, and allocation across various transaction methods (electronic, card, cash).
Review insurance payments and denials, and reconcile discrepancies.
Communicate with patients and insurance companies to follow up on unpaid balances and resolve billing inquiries.
Prepare and submit regular reports on account status, highlighting key issues and successes.
Collaborate with dental office staff to verify patient insurance coverage and billing details.
2+ years of experience in dental insurance, billing, and accounts receivable.
Proficiency with Eaglesoft, strongly preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Track record of reducing accounts receivable delinquencies in a timely manner.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
